Going Beyond

New Page, New Picture, now a New Challenge

For the new people, every Sunday I call for a roll and a check in and issue a challenge to help keep us accountable and focused toward our goal and also to help improve ourselves as people. The first challenge was not to miss a scheduled workout. The second was to get 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep each night. Last weeks was to take the high road. To do something nice for somebody you might not like. Either I didn’t get the chance or I didn’t try hard enough but I had no luck with that.

But I think we should keep these first three challenges as staples and corner stones of this thread. Don’t miss a workout you have scheduled into WOWY, try and get 8 hrs each night, and always take the high road.

This weeks challenge comes from Aerodahlin(Lisa), thank you for your help. This thread seems to be slowing down a bit even though we just hit page 13, lets pic it back up. It’s week 4 so this challenge is called Go Beyond.

Go beyond the normal things in your everyday life. This incorporates a lot of the first 3 but more. Go beyond your daily workouts. If you’ve been doing your workouts on a 6 or 7 scale out of 10, go beyond and raise the intensity. Instead of parking close to work or at Wally World, park far away and walk. Instead of an escalator or elevator take the stairs, sprint the stairs. Go Beyond your physical day to day. Go beyond what you normally eat. Try some new healthy food. I think I might give tofu another try.

And each time you Go Beyond we want to hear about it. This is going to hold you accountable and also get this thread to page 15 by weeks end. That’s right, I want this thread on page 15 or beyond by next Sunday.

Stretch your limits, expand your mind, and reach and stretch for what you want to achieve. We’re 1/3 of the way there. We are 66 days from Halloween but probably even less than that depending on when your first Halloween party will be.

What are you going to do each day to go beyond? You don’t have another pushup in you? Go beyond and find one more. Haven’t done double jumps in plyo yet? Go beyond and try for 5 seconds, 10 seconds or keep up with Dominic.
